MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU) has been the onsite home of MWROC since our inception in 2010.
Read on for info about the incredible facilities at MNU, the campus map, air travel, and driving directons.
MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU)
MNU is located in Olathe, Kansas, a suburban community of roughly 120,000 people, just 20 minutes from the heart of Kansas City. This ideal location offers all of the cultural advantages of a major metropolitan area, and is the second largest among the 21 communities in prosperous Johnson County, and the fifth largest city in the state.
While people are at the heart of the MNU Experience, this beautiful campus goes a long way toward making students feel at home. MidAmerica’s campus occupies 105 acres of classic colonial-style buildings, athletic and recreational facilities, and plenty of green space to enjoy.
The Cunningham Center!
We will rock out in STYLE at the beautiful new Cunningham Center! This is where we’ll eat all of our meals and gather after each faculty concert for our Cafe Rock and Wreck talent shows and jam sessions. Click here for a map of the MNU campus.
Accommodations
MNU is a beautiful college campus that has excellent 24/7 security. Dormitories are highly secure and can only be entered with a pass key card, given to each camper as they arrive.
An added bonus is that MNU is not located in a big city. It is a quiet oasis, with the exception of the incredible music and energy that we create during the time we are there.
The dorms, cafeteria, classrooms and performance area are all located in a perfect triangle. Walking from the dorm to the music building is about 50 yards. The same is true for the cafeteria.
Separate dorms are assigned by gender; and separate floors are reserved for our adult campers and families. Campers may NOT visit dormitories other than their own. Roommates are chosen by same gender and age, as much as possible. Counselors accompany students aged 17 and under, so there is always an adult presence.
MNU and MWROC have a strict “no drugs, alcohol, or tobacco” policy and we encourage a healthy work ethic and smart living. MWROC strictly upholds the rules of MNU, as our host campus.
